Honda’s family-friendly, third-row SUV returns for the 2021 model year with a new trim level and some exciting equipment upgrades. Previously only available on Touring and above, the 9-speed transmission is now standard on every 2021 Pilot trim, along with paddle shifters and the fuel-saving idle stop feature. The Honda Pilot didn’t receive a full redesign for 2021 but it’s making news with color changes to the Black Edition and the introduction of an all-new Special Edition model.
What's included in the 2021 Honda Pilot Special Edition?
Taking its place between the EX-L and Touring trims, the 2021 Honda Pilot Special Edition has taken styling cues from the Black Edition while offering an elevated set of features and amenities. Joining an aerodynamic frame and smooth body lines, the Pilot Special Edition is a sport-focused SUV with 20” black alloy wheels, roof rails, a power tailgate with hands-free access, and exclusive SE badging. What's included inside the 2021 Pilot Special Edition? Drivers will appreciate leather seating, a power driver's seat with 2-position memory, wireless phone charging, and 2nd-row sunshades, building on the EX-L trim.
